A birthday should feel special for every child, no matter their circumstances. That belief sits at the heart of We Love Birthday Parties, a nonprofit dedicated to making sure children facing hardship still experience the joy of feeling celebrated. For Carr Insurance Group supporting that mission has been a natural extension of the Agency’s commitment to the local community since 2018.
Todd and his wife have both served on the Board of Directors, with Todd currently active on the Finance Committee. That hands-on leadership goes beyond the boardroom. Todd volunteered at the organization’s 4 day summer camp for underprivileged children and took the lead on planning a one-of-a-kind fantasy themed fundraiser adventure that brought people together around A shared sense of fun while raising critical funds for the nonprofit.
“Instead of a traditional fundraiser, I designed a creative and engaging experience that brought people together around a shared sense of fun while supporting an important cause.” Todd Shared. “It was meaningful to see an idea rooted in creativity turn into tangible support for a nonprofit that brings joy, celebration, and lasting memories to children who need it most.”
A $10,000 Make More Happen Award would allow We Love Birthday Parties to provide nutritious food, decorations, gifts, and treats for 250 children in poverty each month, while expanding their reach to serve families in neighboring counties.
