How to apply

If you haven’t already, please visit the Make More Happen overview page to learn more about the program, eligibility and award campaign program.

The application will be completed in two parts:

1. Submit a pre-screen application

The pre-screen portion should take about 5 minutes to complete and will determine if your nominated nonprofit meets the guidelines for a Make More Happen Award donation. Nonprofit eligibility guidelines are available; however, we don’t expect you to know all the details about what we can and cannot award through Make More Happen. That’s why we’ve created a two-step process for the Make More Happen application.

For this portion you will need just a few pieces of information about your agency (contact information, owner-master code, address) and the nonprofit (name, address and the super-important tax ID number) so we can make a determination.

2. Complete your application

If your nominated nonprofit meets program guidelines, you will receive an automated email asking you to complete the full Make More Happen application:

  1. Log back into your Reviewr account.
  2. Click the View icon for your submission.
  3. You’ll now see a few new questions and place to upload your photos! Click the Edit button in the upper right corner to go to complete your application.
  4. Upload three photos showing your volunteer work with the nonprofit and use the captions to tell us about the photo. More tips on photos can be found here.
  5. Make sure to save your application often so you can come back to it later and not lose any work!

If your nominated nonprofit does not meet the guidelines, you are welcome to apply again with a different nonprofit.

Judging criteria

Complete your application by the first of the month to be evaluated that month. Applications will be evaluated each month by a team of reviewers.

What are we looking for? A great story! We want to learn about what inspired your agency to get involved, special memories from giving back and examples of how the nonprofit is driving positive change in the community. Be sure to include how long you’ve been involved, what your agency has done to help the nonprofit, how $10,000 will further their mission and the quality of the photos which we would use in award marketing materials. Simply put, speak from the heart and let us know how we can help!
