Whitney Thompson, Block Insurance director of first impressions, Carol Fleszar, director of the B.E.E.S, and Allison Hestand, Block Insurance agency manager, are pictured at the Senior B.E.E.S center. Together they hosted a donation drive for people to donate crossword puzzles, word searches, puzzles, pens, pencils and anything else that can help keep brains active and stimulated.
Higher levels of mental activity throughout life are consistently associated with better brain function and reduced risk of cognitive decline and dementia. Block Insurance also hosted a sock drive for B.E.E.S. to deliver to homebound seniors with their Meals on Wheels program this winter. They are always looking for unique ways to support others in their community.
