Diana Buscetto, vice president commercial lines and business development manager at SAVA Insurance Group, poses with the overflowing box of donations the agency received for their Alliance for Living food drive. They collected non-perishable Thanksgiving sides such as mashed potatoes, stuffing cranberry sauce, gravy and canned veggies. All of SAVA’s donations went to Alliance For Living’s Thanksgiving dinner for people in need in the New London, Connecticut area.
Alliance for Living is the only HIV/AIDS service organization and resource center in southeastern Connecticut that also deals with homelessness and assists people dealing with substance use disorder. The nonprofit also runs an on-site food pantry that provides food, personal care and household items to those in need.
