Tips to help your event go smoothly

Before your event

- Order team swag.
- Coordinate tools and equipment needed.
- Confirm and communicate event logistics: date, time, location, parking and expectations.

Day of the event

- Make a list of specific photos and video you want to capture.
- Designate team members to take and upload photos.
- Learn about the organization.

Post-event

- Follow up with the nonprofit to say thank you and plan for the next event.
- Recognize employees who volunteered.
- Complete the post-event evaluation form.

- Publish blog content about nonprofits, local causes and agency culture.

- Feature employees in your newsletter and agency social media.
- Take a moment in team meetings for agency giving announcements.
- Provide gift cards or other thank you gifts to employees who volunteer.
