What if improving lives could start simply by helping people pause, breathe, and reconnect? Spectrum Insurance Agency believes in that power, which is why agency owner Dan Loofboro founded Spectrum New Beginnings (SNB), a Dayton, Ohio nonprofit dedicated to holistic wellness and self-care practices that empowers individuals – women, children and young adults, veterans, and more – to renew their minds and transform their lives.

Spectrum New Beginnings tackles critical mental health and wellness needs for Dayton community members, including supportive communities and self-care tools for women, as well as mobile Self-Care Days that bring a variety of healing practices directly to the community. Spectrum Insurance Agency’s commitment goes beyond financial support with active involvement in SNB’s operations. They provide in-kind administrative services, and agency owners serve on the board and volunteer to lead mindful movement and yoga sessions.

“We know that when people feel empowered – whether policyholders or our neighbors – they are self-reliant, happier, healthier and can cope with challenges. Spectrum New Beginnings provides essential services that uplift individuals and families to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Our partnership with SNB enables our agency to make a real difference in the lives of Dayton residents,” says Dan Loofboro, owner, Spectrum Insurance Agency.

With a $10,000 Make More Happen Award, Spectrum New Beginnings can expand its reach by partnering with 10 East Dayton organizations to offer on-site self-care labs featuring mindful movement, chair massage, creative journaling, and childcare. The donation also would enhance women’s programs and increase administrative and marketing capacity to create more operational efficiency and greater impact.

Vote for Spectrum Insurance Agency to help empower more Dayton residents on their journey to holistic wellness. Together, we can build a healthier, more resilient community—your vote makes a difference!
