With a $10,000 Make More Happen Award, the agency will kickstart a campaign to recruit other local businesses to help Lehigh Community Services secure a commercial-grade generator. A generator can keep the food pantry’s refrigeration running, ensure uninterrupted hot meals for seniors, and maintain critical emergency operations during power outages. This includes installing an emergency charging station—a vital lifeline for individuals to charge a phone and stay connected to loved ones during natural disasters.
